The Westend Studio Teamed up with some of Toronto's most stylish vendors this month. The stunning and eclectic Berkeley Bicycle Club was the location for our spring bohemian glamour inspired style shoot. The absolutely stunning hand crocheted dress by Rue De Siene genorously provided by Lovers Land was the star of our shoot, especially on our beautiful model, wow. The Bicycle Club as a setting provides stunning accents of original mahogany panels, archways and uneven plastered walls. It was the home of The Gooderham family notorious Torontonian distillers whos whiskey empire came on hard times during 1920's prohibition era. The Mansion changed hands a number of times over the decades and is now in the care of Berkeley Events who have restored it to its former glory. The shoot was also highlighted by floral designs by Hello Midge Flowers, make up by JC Creative and a cake by Roccoa Butter.
TORONTO BRIDE RUTH SHARES HER UNIQUE WEDDING DAY WITH HUSBAND PAUL AT LA MAQUETTE CAPTURED BY WESTEND STUDIO
A Wedding By The Westend Studio
A classic wedding at an historic venue.
Jonathan from The Westend Studio describes this beautiful day…
…when Mark and Alanna asked me to capture their wedding day I was honoured. Not only did they choose a beautiful historic venue, they also had an outdoor reception at a private residence under a tent, the kind of wedding I love. Catherine from The Creative Details helped put everything together and did an beautiful job. Mark and Alanna are just the most wonderful people, their images show their personalities, and classic taste. It was a pleasure and privilege to shoot their day.
We had the pleasure of traveling to the great city of New Orleans, Louisiana for Melissa & Michael's beautiful engagement. The city and all of it's history, character, and characters gave us both the backdrop and inspiration for this wonderful series of images. We started in the historic neighbourhood of Treme, made our way to Bourbon street, then headed to the absolutely breathtakingly beautiful Audubon Park.
