From the quieter moments early in the day through the ceremony, portraits and reception, Vanessa and Scott brought an effortless energy to their wedding.

One of our favourite things about photographing weddings at The Doctor’s House is the amount of visual variety available within a relatively compact property.

The historic architecture adds texture and character, while the surrounding gardens and green spaces create softer backgrounds for portraits. Inside, exposed beams, large windows and warm architectural details give photographers several completely different environments to work with throughout the day.

The chapel is especially distinctive. Designed with traditional wooden pews, cathedral-style windows and iron chandeliers, it creates an intimate atmosphere while still offering beautiful natural architectural elements for photographs.
