Three Toronto Wedding Trailers We Love From 2026

Every wedding has its own energy, and one of the things we love most about wedding cinema is finding a way to capture that feeling in just a few minutes.

This year, the Westend Studio wedding photo and cinema team has had the opportunity to document some incredible celebrations throughout Toronto and the GTA. From old Hollywood glamour and dramatic architecture to industrial spaces surrounded by nature, these three weddings stood out to us for completely different reasons.

Here are three of our favourite Toronto wedding trailers from 2026 — featuring May & Hassan at The Eglinton Grand, Brigitta & Hershel at Evergreen Brick Works, and Veronica & Anthony at Ascott Parc Event Centre.

May & Hassan — The Eglinton Grand, Toronto

Wedding Venue: The Eglinton Grand

There are few Toronto wedding venues with the personality of The Eglinton Grand.

Originally opened as a movie theatre in 1936, the historic Toronto landmark still carries that unmistakable Art Deco and old-Hollywood atmosphere. The marquee, dramatic entrance, sweeping interior and ballroom make it an incredible setting for wedding photography and cinema. (Eglinton Grand)

For May and Hassan’s wedding, the venue felt perfectly suited to the scale and energy of the celebration.

Their wedding trailer moves between intimate moments and the excitement of the reception, while the architecture of The Eglinton Grand gives the film an almost cinematic quality before we’ve even added a camera.

That’s what we love about filming weddings here: the venue isn’t simply a backdrop. It becomes part of the story.

For couples searching for an elegant Toronto wedding venue with vintage character, The Eglinton Grand remains one of the city’s most distinctive choices.

Brigitta and Hershel’s wedding at Evergreen Brick Works was completely different — and that’s exactly why we loved it.

Evergreen Brick Works is one of our favourite locations for couples who want something that feels unmistakably Toronto without having a traditional ballroom wedding.

Set among historic industrial buildings and the natural landscape of Toronto’s Don Valley, the venue combines exposed brick, graffiti, huge windows, greenery and incredible outdoor spaces. Evergreen describes the property as a collection of heritage buildings surrounded by nature, with spaces that can accommodate everything from intimate ceremonies to celebrations of more than 200 guests. For a wedding filmmaker and photographer, that combination gives us endless possibilities.

Brigitta and Hershel’s wedding brought those elements together beautifully. The design and florals by R5 Event Design transformed the space while still allowing the industrial character of Evergreen Brick Works to come through. R5 specializes in full-service event décor, floral design and production, making their work particularly well suited to a venue with this kind of scale and flexibility. (R5 Event Design)

Planning by Events by Elena helped bring all of those elements together into one cohesive celebration. The Toronto-based planning company specializes in personalized wedding and event design built around each couple’s individual vision. (events-by-elena)

The result was a wedding that felt modern, artistic, sophisticated and completely personal.

Those qualities carried directly into the wedding trailer. Rather than simply documenting what happened, we wanted the film to capture the atmosphere — the textures of the space, the movement, the people and all of the smaller moments happening between the big ones.

Veronica & Anthony — Ascott Parc Event Centre

Wedding Venue: Ascott Parc Event Centre, Vaughan
Visit Ascott Parc Event Centre

Veronica and Anthony’s wedding at Ascott Parc Event Centre in Vaughan gave us another completely different visual world to work with.

Ascott Parc combines landscaped outdoor grounds and gardens with large indoor reception spaces, allowing couples to move from an outdoor ceremony into a sophisticated ballroom celebration at the same property. (Ascott Parc)

For Veronica and Anthony’s wedding trailer, we wanted to balance the elegance of the day with its energy.

There were beautiful quiet moments between the two of them, but there was also an incredible celebration happening around them. That contrast is something we always look for when creating our wedding films.

The result is a trailer that feels romantic without becoming overly traditional — modern, emotional and cinematic while still feeling real.

It’s also a great example of why we love photographing and filming weddings at venues that offer both indoor and outdoor environments. It allows a wedding film to constantly change visually while still telling one continuous story.

Why We Love Creating Wedding Trailers

A great wedding trailer shouldn’t feel like a highlight reel of everything that happened.

It should feel like the wedding.

The nervous energy before the ceremony. A quick look across the room. Parents seeing their son or daughter dressed for the first time. Friends laughing during cocktail hour. The speeches. The music getting louder. And those few quiet seconds when the couple seems to forget there are hundreds of people around them.

At Westend Studio, our approach to Toronto wedding photography and cinematography is editorial and cinematic while remaining natural to the people we’re photographing.

Every couple is different, which means every film should be different too.

May & Hassan’s dramatic Eglinton Grand wedding, Brigitta & Hershel’s modern industrial Evergreen Brick Works wedding, and Veronica & Anthony’s elegant Ascott Parc wedding couldn’t have looked more different.

That’s exactly what made each of them so much fun to create.
